Stop duplicate player accounts and match abuse
When the same player can sign up twice, a match promo pays out twice. Verified check-in and an enforced cooldown close that gap without making regulars feel watched.
What is match abuse in a game room?
The short answerMatch abuse is when one player collects a match more often than the house rules allow, usually by signing up under a second name, using a friend's account, or coming back before the cooldown ends. It is rarely dramatic. It is a regular who has learned the counter cannot tell two sign-ups apart. ArcadeX stops it at check-in: each match is tied to a verified player, the replay cooldown you set is enforced by the Match System instead of remembered by staff, and a second account cannot reuse a phone number or NFC tag already on file.

How do duplicate player accounts happen?
Almost every case starts with a check-in that cannot tell people apart.
- A second sign-up under a nickname or a family member's name
- A shared card or a borrowed account at the counter
- Coming back an hour early and hoping nobody remembers
- Different staff on different shifts who have never met the player
What does a replay cooldown do?
A cooldown is the window you set between matches for the same player. Once a player receives a match, the Match System will not give that player another one until the window has passed. Staff no longer have to remember faces or argue at the counter: the screen says when the player can play again.
How does ArcadeX stop a second account?
A player's phone number can only belong to one account in your shop, and an NFC tag can only belong to one player. Palm vein check-in goes further, because a palm cannot be handed to a friend. You choose which check-in options to switch on, and every one of them feeds the same cooldown.
Will verified check-in drive regulars away?
Not when it is fast and optional. Players check in in seconds, palm is one choice among several, and a player who would rather not scan a palm uses a phone number instead. The rule is applied the same way to everyone, which regulars tend to prefer to a judgment call at the counter.
Can I still reward my best players?
Yes. Verified players are what make targeted rewards possible: spin campaigns with a daily budget, different offers for new, frequent, and rare visitors, birthday bonuses, and raffles. You decide who gets what, and every reward is tied to a real player.
ArcadeX is built by Charviam, an IT, AI, and digital marketing company. Game room owners kept bringing us the same problems: counts that did not tie out, payouts nobody could trace, and quiet weeknights. We built ArcadeX to solve them, and more than 270 game room owners now run their floors on it.
