You decide how much it does on its own
Every automation starts by only watching and suggesting. It moves step by step to doing work on its own, and only as far as you allow.
How do Charviam AI automations work?
Each one connects to apps you already use, follows your business rules and uses AI only where language is involved. It starts in Shadow mode, where it watches and suggests but changes nothing. You then move it to Draft, Assisted and, where offered, Auto, and you can move it back down at any time.

Four steps, from watching to running
Run modesStart in Shadow. Move up when you are ready, and back down at any time. Auto unlocks only after a trial period in Assisted.
- Shadow
Watches and suggests. Changes nothing.
Runs on real data and shows what it would have done. No app is changed and no message is sent.
- Draft
Prepares everything. You approve each action.
Every action waits as an approval card you can approve, edit or reject.
- Assisted
Does the safe things itself. Asks for the rest.
Confident, low-impact actions run. Anything risky waits for approval.
- Auto
Runs on its own within your limits.
Runs without approval, with limits, alerts and a kill switch. Unlocks after a trial period in Assisted.
Regulated automations never run fully on their own
Hiring and outbound calling offer Shadow and Draft only, so a person always decides: Job Application Screener and Voice Assistant.
Money and legal automations stop at Assisted
Invoices, payment reminders, review replies, orders, compliance checks and contracts always need a person to approve the money or legal action.
How to move an automation from Shadow to Auto
Connect and configure
Connect the apps the automation needs and set your own rules, such as routing tables, approved wording or limits.
Run it in Shadow
It runs on your real data and shows what it would have done. No app is changed and no message is sent.
Move to Draft
Every action waits as an approval card that shows what will change. You approve, edit or reject each one.
Move to Assisted
Confident, low-impact actions run on their own. Anything risky still waits for a person to approve it.
Unlock Auto, if it is offered
Auto unlocks only after a trial period in Assisted. It runs within your limits, with alerts and a kill switch, and you can move it back down at any time.

The same four promises, every time
SafetyYou approve before it acts
Approval cards show exactly what will change, as a before and after view.
Your data stays yours
Each business's data is kept separate, personal data is masked in logs, and access uses the smallest permissions possible.
It knows its limits
When it is unsure, it hands over to a person instead of guessing. Text from outside the business is never treated as an instruction.
Stop anytime
Every automation has a pause and a kill switch, and every action is logged.
Automations that call each other
Better togetherEmail Responder asks Knowledge Base Assistant for grounded answers before it drafts a reply.
Meeting Notes Assistant feeds CRM Updater its meeting summaries, so the CRM stays current.
Workflow Orchestrator chains Task Automation and other automations into one tracked process.
